I oversee the Bookmobile operations for the Arrowhead Library System. When my staff member called in sick for last Friday, and was unable to do the day's run, I ended up filling in for her. What fun it was! Being out of the office for a day felt like playing hooky. I worked a 14-hour day, getting home at 9:00 p.m., but I wasn't even tired. It seems to me that the fun of working on a bookmobile is a well-kept secret in librarianship! What do you think?
